Living at The Sheffield Condominium
As a real estate broker, I have access to hundreds of stunning Manhattan apartments, but I can honestly say that picking The Sheffield was an easy decision.
I moved into my apartment in The Sheffield in a couple of years ago, and my only regret is that I didn’t move in sooner.
Let’s start with location, which in the real estate world is the most important factor of any property. As we always say, “Location, location, location!” At 322 West 57th, the Sheffield is less than a 100 yards from a number of subway lines, Central Park, the Time Warner Building, and all the top restaurants, hottest nightlife spots, and best attractions in the Columbus Circle/Midtown West neighborhood.
The Sheffield is not only centrally located, but highly accessible by all forms of transportation. The building has a large garage right next door, and there is also street parking on both 57th and 56th where it is always easy to find parking before encountering the cross town grid lock. Another great feature of The Sheffield is the driveway access, from 57th Street exiting onto 56th right in the front of the building entrance. In midtown, this is a true luxury! And whether you’re in a car or a taxi, you can use the garage to make a loop back to the front entrance on 57th to avoid driving in a midtown gridlock.
The building is just as impressive as its location. At you enter the polished lobby, you leave the congestion of Manhattan behind. The spacious atrium lobby has ample room to meet friends and business associates as well as a concierge where packages and deliveries are held for residents. As soon as you arrive, you are met by the friendly doormen who greet everyone in this 568 unit by name and offer every assistance. Their pleasant welcome never fails to remind me how happy I am to call The Sheffield home.
