Situated in TriBeCa, 56 Leonard Street is a super luxury condo building that emulates a “57-story tower of glassy Jenga stacked prisms.” 56 Leonard has been described as a “vertical glass expression of sculpted surfaces, cantilevers and sparkling glass,” and a “casacade of modernist villas.” The remarkable luxury high-rise condo building is essentially a “global landmark” designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, who describes their work as “houses stacked in the sky.”

Herzog & de Meuron also designed the building’s interior, including the custom kitchens, fixtures, bathrooms and fireplaces. 56 Leonard’s 9th and 10th floors feature an expansive 17,000 square feet of amenities such as a 75 foot pool, a 25 seat screening room, a private dining room, and a children’s playroom.

Developers Alexico Group and Hines are responsible for the soon-to-be tallest structure in TriBeCa, which has 139 different floor plans across 145 condominium residences that all have private outdoor space. The condos range in size from 1418-6400 square feet, and two to five bedrooms. 56 Leonard is topped by 8 full floor penthouse condos with 14 foot high window walls that take full advantage of uninterrupted “breathtaking panoramas” of the city and beyond. The luxury condo building has residences priced from $3.5 to $50 million and is mostly sold even before completion.
