Interested in Getting a US Visa?
Many international people are setting their eyes and money on the skyline of Manhattan for it offers fantastic opportunities to invest your finances. If you are interested in getting a U.S residency then we can help guide you in the right direction. Your first step is to see if you are eligible. Below are a few guidelines to give you an idea of what to expect when applying for a green card.
While there are several types of visas you can apply for, we will review the EB-5 Visa as a path to a green card which leads to U.S citizenship. For this visa if you go through a Regional Center you will need to invest in a project which is already under development. We are constantly reviewing opportunities both through Regional Centers and direct investments where we can help you pick the ideal project for you taking into consideration post visa sales and liquidity of your investment. An EB-5 Visa investment needs to total $1,000,000 directly into any business located anywhere in the U.S. and demonstrate that at least 10 full-time jobs have been, or will be created as a direct result of your investment.
You may also invest $500,000 directly into any business located in a high-unemployment or rural area (called a Targeted Employment Area, or TEA) and demonstrate that at least 10 full-time jobs have been, or will be created as a direct result of your investment. Puerto Rico has many candidates for TEA investments Additionally, you can also invest $500,000 indirectly into a project managed and operated by a Regional Center located in a TEA, and rely on the Regional Center to demonstrate how your money will be used to create at least 10 full time jobs through indirect and/or induced means. Your money is pooled with other investors in a fund, and the fund is used to loan money to the project/developer to complete the project.
We hope that this discussion on EB-5 has peaked your interest in property investments to achieve US residency. My team and I are ready to assist you selecting investment projects and shepherding you through the process.
